So nice to be back to school and see familiar faces and talking crap again in class .. I just love break times.. Not only got food but can catch up with friends. Coz don't understand why when school holiday started everyone “disappear” from MSN.. only left joanna or sometimes jerry and shiying online nia.. But when school starts, everyone started to appear on MSN.. haha..

Hehe.. after school, I went to bugis for indoor tanning. Got this free voucher, got it from the organiser when I do judging for best model last month, that got extra voucher so I took it.. Know that once if i get tan wiull be hard to get jobs espcially commercial but still imagine have to fight with so many ppl for just one role and is not like i'm doing full time modeling so don't bother and the tan doesn't really shows for just 1 session, so just go ahead and have a try!

Shoot of me before I go for tanning.. Behind is Joreen. Didn't know that she work over there. Haha.. so long never see her since Miss Chinatown I think..

 

The lotion.. Got 2 choice either this shocking tan or the normal tan lotion. So i choose this shocking tan.. hope to have a nice glowing skin..

 

After that, Joreen brought me to a room with the machine, forgot to take photo of the machine. Its not the normal special “spaceship” like thing, is a machine with 4 pillars and 2 machine in between the pillars. One of the machine is radio or CD player the other one is the start button and etc. Then Joreen make it to 12mins, coz she scare 15mins my skin couldn't take it, coz I normally don't tan myself, although I reassure her its ok, coz I get tan easily haha.. So after she go out, I remove clothing and apply the shocking tan lotion and stand in the middle of the 4 pilllars.

After tune in my favourite channel, stand own there nothing to do so start to do some normal leg excerise coz its quite funny just standing down there and the space is small. So after 12 mins I came out and change back my clothes. Told Joreen I felt nothing at all.. didn't feel like I got tan at all lei, but she said have to wait for few more hours then will get to see the effect.. -,-”

After that called up Benny and told him the tanning thing, then he said he will come over and meet me. Going to watch transformers! At first he didn't tell me that he's planning to watch movie, when we walk around bugis area for about 15mins, he suddenly ask me “want or don't want”, i was like eh??? Then he said just said want or don't want.. then i pause for awhile, I said want, coz I thought he is giving me something, which he always do that.. but suddenly he said, ok lets go and buy tickets to watch transformers..-,-” lolz.. haha.. but i'm happy to watch that! So we went over to suntec to have our dinner at Carl's junior and after that watch movie.

When we walk past Shaw towers to Suntec, benny saw this fish tank and the goldfish is super fat.. haha.. So he ask me to take photos with the goldfish..

 

After buying the tickets we saw the simpsons huge poster! Benny thought is a wall, so when he took photos, he lend against it, the whole thing almost drop…. -,-” coz we want to take as if we are sitting on the sofa..

Its really a very very nice show.. quite touching also, the scene on the police force freeze the bumble bee and Sam trying to save him.. He's treating bumble bee like a real person not a machine.. But sometimes we as a human being treating someone like a machine, seldom think that its a person… Maybe when the world advance, will machine really have feelings?? Then it will be more complicated.. coz people and people relationship is already so complicated…

Hi folks.. finally back to blogging.. was tired after doing communicasia, so didn't bother to blog.. but feel abit regret, coz I will have lots of photos to upload -_______-”… cry man.. haha… so going to try to blog as much as today then continue tmr..

Came back from Bridal show le!! Was quite ok, but the stage is really too small to walk for bridal gowns… But quite glad no hicupps and steeping on each other gowns and own gowns haha.. I was happily “flipping” my own gown.. haha….  Dear came to watch the show and took some snap shoots of me and the rest! Though not so expert but can see la.. hehe

Yesterday night shift was quite a good one. The same staff MIA again.. no responsible at all lor, our agency boss talk to her also no use, said she will come end up never, I rather she don't come lor.. coz that day work with her busy like hell, the next few night shift she not working, I relax man.. hehe…

Was quite settle for the whole night, till almost handling over shift, the OT people started to call up and fetch patient for operation, if one never mind, but it was like 3 patients need to send down and all almost at the same time.. Send until i go crazy.. Oh ya before sending down the patients for opertaion. One of the staff forget to put up the milk feeds for one of the patient so she ask me to put it up for her then she do the admission(coz i don't know how to do ). End up the patient is on the milk feed machine.. shit don't know how to put, coz in SGH, seldom we have patient on this kind of machine, even if the patient transfer us with that machine, the doctor will order to off it, and put it as normal feeding schedule, so me trying how to figure out etc, the ang mo patient get up and see what i'm doing, end up he teach me how to place it coz i only know how to key in the schedule, and the tubing i place it all wrongly.. -__-” lucky he didn't scold me, keep saying sorry to him.. he said he had this machine with him for months le, so he knew better then anyone else on how the machines works. Then he said “haha.. a lesson learn today for you..” Yap really a lesson learn.. think thats the best part for doing agency nurse, get toknow different patient's condition, treatment etc..

After my night shift, faster went back home to catch some sleep (actually only like less then 2 hours), then wake up to go for fitting then rush down to Suntec for the LG training for Communicasia, 19-22 June at EXPO. Lucky got the dress on that spot also, was quite gla that the costume they povide is not skimpy otherwise I will cry sia.. I will be wearing all silver from tip to toe, everything is provided for us from earrings, to heels. Just that I don't quite like their heels design.. Will shoot the full dress on monday, coz got rehearsal on monday at Expo. There will be 2 groups of models, one is Prada and LG Shine, for me I'm at the LG Shine, thats explain my whole silver outfit, and the prada is all black outfit and only 3 ang mo models.

Ok after the training, which i think it was not a must coz they are just introducing the phone functions and the lady explain details on what is GSM, the camera megapixles what is 3G etc.. hmm.. so don't think is useful.. lolz.. so bad of me.. hehe..

Glad the training finish at 4pm, faster rush back home to catch some sleep again (about 2 hours) before I rush down to central for rehearsals. This year the stage is quite small compared to lasy year at Sutec ballroom. Was quite difficult to walk for small stage, because u are wearing gown, the stage is small so it means u have to walk a few more times to make the audience catch what u are wearing..

I know is bad, but seriuosly sleep is more important and no need to watse time putting make u again in last then 2 hours.. when i sleep, I didn't even move at all, coz scared the makeup run and scare my clothes will get messy and hair also… diao.. anyway hope there's no more next time.. Bad example to follow..

Yesterday, went to meet Liang Dan before  went for gown fitting at Yvonne's place. We had lunch and do some catching up. Then we talk about how parents nowadays strive to save for their kids for future university etc.. But surprisingly both of us don't like the idea of parents struggling to save for the future university fees. Coz we both feel that, although we should save, we can save half of the fees, or abit, and the rest ask the children to work for it. They can't have everything they want just by sticking out their hands. They should earn for it.

They should know how important the money is (i only realise after i quit my job, ya abit stupid.. ) so thy should know that the living, education expenses is high. I know some may said I'm bad but seriously I don't want my child to ask for money so happily like nobody business and only get to know how's the working world is like after they graduated from University.. That will be too late. Because we or our parents generation learn how to work and study at the same time thats why they are tough and able to adapt changes and surroundings quickly.. I don't wish my children to be spoiled. Classic example, u save all ur life for your children education, ur child saw his/her classmate got a car for birthday, and he/she came to ask you for it, can u afford it? if u can good for you, but once the request started there will be no ending. (true example.. not i make up de).. So think twice on what you are saving for and what signal are you giving to your future kids.  

Aftr chatting and lunch, I went for gown fitting and Liang Dan went back to her office. Tried about 5 gowns, but will be showing case 4 gowns for each model and 2 suit from the guy.

After the fitting, Cailing, Leon and me went to Plaza Sing coz going to meet our bf there and Leon haven't had his lunch yet.

  

 

After eating Leon went back home, Cailing and Me countinue to shop around while waiting for our bf. After shopping about an hour, Benny came, so Cailing and me seperate and she continue shopping..

Seems like Dear is having some mood swing… so we had a small quarrel yesterday.. sianz.. but now everything is ok le.. Feel abit bad, coz Benny just started work and pass few days I keep on doing night shift, so not much time to accompany him, so when he need me I also not around.. but I'm glad everything is ok le..

Hey!! I'm back from night shift! It was a tiring night shift for my first night, but the rest of the 3 nights are still manageable.  Lucky still able to get used to night shift for not working about 10 months since i resign.. But it really takes me time to cope with new settings and ward staff. Not mant are friendly, only 2-3 staff are nice ppl, espcially one senior malay staff nurse quite nice.   

I have experience in working as a nurse but that doesn't mean i have the experence working at the hospital, they have different policy and methods of document stuff which is so different form SGH, they don't have time to teach me, I have to pick up everyting myself, and they expect me to do perfectly…. They suppose to have 1 staff to pair up with me, but that staff took mc for all the 3 nights, leaving me alone, she also never teach me how to chart the forms and how they do the I/O, so the 2nd night I have to figure outeverything myself, not only that the staff nurse over there don't ans call bell de, expect the junior to answer only, if i never ans the call bell, they will start searching for me.. and if I'm at the patient room, they will see if I'm finishing anot, if finish liao, go and attend to the patient.. what the.. -__-”  

Anyway.. going to go back there and work again on thursday, next week sat and sun for night shift. They serious have shortage of staff, apprently they have no juniors nurses and patient care attentant. Just hope my next night there wouldn't be a terrible one..

Btw, saw this one very old school machines they uses there.. is kind of a vacuum for suctioning… very noisy also..

Hehe.. very old school hor.. haha… didn't even seen this at SGH before.. I think the plus point for working as a agency nurse is, you get to work at different area of department and hospital, you must learn how to be quick and adapt quickly to the surronding. Get to know how each hospital function and learn different stuff coz the next posting might be a different discinpline..

ok enough of rant.. now back to best model! Went for Best Model finals before my night shift starts (so sleepy), coz I need to pass over my previous title to a new winner. And she will get a chance to go Korea!! U will know who is she in the later part of my post!

His a nice guy, but speak little english, so previously have abit of difficulties talking to him, need someone to translate. Footnote: For those who couldn't win anything or still thinking whether should u join, don't give up ok! Coz I also tried alot of times before getting something..

First I went for New Paper Face audition but didn't get through, second, i went for Glamour Quest, from pre-finals to semi-finals but didn't make it to Finals, then come best model with the sub award of international model then went for miss world came in 2nd and miss chinatown came in 2nd with a title of top model. As days goes by, the competition taught me to dress well (not expensive), preset yourseelf and learn how to overcome the stage fright.. eventually I did it!

From the audition for new paper face to top model.. this is the difference how much i have change (hmm.. set the sotong/blur aside) the photo below is taken after i went for the audition..

So good luck for does who is going to join the coming new paper face or miss world and best of luck for those who have tired.. and hope the confidence level you have gain will help you more in your future work! ut do treat this as a experienc don't bitch or fight on stage or back stage ok.. winning is not everything, the experience is the one that counts!

Went for judging for Best Model of the year at Millenia Walk , this year need to pass on my previous title International Model of the year to one of the contestant and she will get a chance to go Korea!! Cool right! Hehe.. Anyway Saturday and Sunday is the semi-final, I only went for the saturday 1st half of the semi finals. So not very sure who are the ones who got into the finals in total.

Anyway besides the main title Best Model which will be going to Turkey, International Model to Korea and the last one is Miss Model wll be goin to China.

Yesterday was filming at Orchard road around 1pm for AXN again . Same thing I'm a mother of 2 children haha with a lovely husband.. haha..

Actually didn't quite get use to film outside Orchard because so many ppl looking espcially those who are sitting a the cafe eating, keep on staring at what you guys are doing. All along those filming I have done is at indoor like studio or indoor places, so its a new experience for me..

After the filming which ends about 4pm, went to meet Benny at hougang, suppose to meet for dinner but he need to settle some hp stuff so didn't get to eat with him, so I postphoned my dinner to 9pm coz Barry had organise a short makan session at Serangoon Garden the Chomp Chomp there. Was there about 15mins early, so no choice, got to “shop” around there to pass my time till they arrived, later then I found out when I msg the guys when I arrived, all of them still at home lor.. -__-” then Joanna said next time go out with them must be 5 mins late.. diao..

Once everyone arrived we start to order all food. We order quite little stuff to eat besides our own dish, we only ordered statay and stingray fish.

Here is what I odered, crab prawn soup noodle! It really taste superb though is quite ex.. :'( U guys should go and try it, don't worry they give u the whole crab not half or only one part of the crab, its consider opposite the drinks stall side, the are famous for the “big prawn noodle”!

After eating, which all of us were quite full, we went over to liquid kitchen which is still at serangoon garden to have some drinks and also wait for Shiying and Clement to come. As usual clement alays get lose to don't know here in Singapore.. He only know how to drive around his place to parkway, to town and zouk, ask him drive to school, he don't know, then from school to orchard he took 1 hour plus. -__-”" lolz.. .okok don't make fun of him liao..

After chilling out at liquid kitchen (they close at 1am), the rest of them proceed to Jalan Kayu to eat coz Clement and Shiying haven't eat yet. So Barry send me home first then meet them over there. Me too tired to continue the makan session coz wake up early for the shoot.

Busy day for me from tmr onwards, will be doing night shift from 7 to 10 June at Gleneagles Hospital/ 10 June finals for best Model (might be there ba then go back to work), then 16 n 17 June bridal show for Yvonne Creative then 19 to 22 June for Comminucaisa! Good to be busy working.. coz got $$ to pay off all my bills! Maybe will be back blogging afer my night shift!
