Quite bored at home so decided to do this… ya i know I'm suppose to be studying at this moment..

We got goodles from the event organiser and wedding planner!! So nice of them to prepare and gave the stuff for us! Think less than 3 months I got more then 4 soft toys liao…

This is what I owre today for the show.. simple dress (is a skirt actually ) easy to take out without spoiling the hair and make up! But mommy complain that is very sheer.. Didn't wear shoes to take coz wearing slippers Red padlock bag from korean, bought it when I go there for compeition.. hope to go back there again and enjoy!

 

This time wrong I end the pics with mao mao “wearing” the specs!! Took long time to get it correctly.. coz her head is too small to hold on the glasses.

Was typing about cooking earlier on.. lazy to type again.. just go straight to cooking ok

Yesterday cooking supper:

Ingrediants: (for 1 share)

Noodle, 1 Mushroom, meat, onion, sesame oil, light soy sauce and water.

1. Sliced the onions and mushrooms into small slices. Before that soak the mushroom till soft if you are using dry mushroom.

2. Prepare water and let it to boil.

3. Put a little bit of oil (around 1 table spoon) into wok, throw in the onions when the oil is hot. Before the oinions turn golden brown, put in the meat and stir fry it. (Food that are easily cooked are to be put in last, but for spices, onions or garlic are to be stir fry first to bring out the taste.

4. Once cooked, just leave it in the wok.

 

Go to the water, if its boiled, put in the noodle. Once in awhile, stir to noodle to prevent them sticking together. To cook for how long depends on the texture of your noodle. If using maggie mee noodle, can just cooked for awhile but for an example, like the noodle i use, i have to cook about 5-7mins.

 

While waiting for the noodle to be cooked, you can prepare the sauce. Just pour sesame oil and light soy sauce onto a plate and leave it. As a guide: 1 1/2 table spoon of sesame oil  and 1 table spoon of soysauce, otherwise up to indiviual preference, but not too salty ok!

After the noodle is cooked, scoop it up using a net, put in under cold water then back to hot water (can use back the hot water earlier on). This is to make the noodle taste better. After doing that, place in onto the plate but don't stir yet.

Placed the rest of the ingrediants on top of the noodle and stir together with the sauce.

 

For those who wish to add in green veg, cut the veg into small/ medium pieces, boil it for a short while instead of frying it together with the rest. It will test better and the nutrients in the veg will not be lost.

Yesterday (thursday) went to Yvonne's place for fitting. Having bridal show at Amara Hotel this coming saturday. It always feel good when client look back for you to do their shows.

Will be wearing 2 evening gowns and 2 wedding gowns. Have a sneak peak of the gowns ba! Forget to take one of the evening gowns pics.. will take on that day if possible! I love the blue evening gown below, is very very nice!! Suits the not-so-well-endowed me… Coz of the cutting it create an illusion.. :p not clear on this pics la.. try to take on that day.. muahaha..

 

As usual, sure end my post with what I wore on wednesday and thursday!

WED ~ Top from Esprit, white jumper from TF and jelly flats. Head band on coz got bad hair day .. wear cups to school abit funny, coz don't wish to take out when in class so head band the best!

THUR ~ Top from Ailiyo, shorts from MRQ and wedges from NOVO. The outfits exclude the wedges is like less than $30!! Both bought from online.. my first outfit also not bad, jumper bought less then $20 if i remember correctly

Back from MAC at AMK. Was studying with Jo and Uncle Jerry.. Both of them came so late, I arrived around 930pm, Jo arrived at almost 11 and Jerry arrived almost 12mn.. -,-” Some more Jo said to msg when I'm out of the house so she will go out at the same time also.. -,-”

Earlier on msg Jo to bring calculator, coz couldn't find mine, don't know where I placed it, she said ok. But didn't expected her to bring such BIG calculator!! Almost the size of A4 size!! **FAINT**  (pardon my handwriting is quite big also.. )

 

Anyway, glad we started now, though abit late, but at least I have done the notes, so right now have to start practise all the calculation.. Hope I can pass through this sem. peacefully.. then my goal to study Psychology is nearer!!

Today the start of this post is in chinese, have been a long time since I blog it in chinese.. Happen to blog it in chinese, coz today read through “i weekly” (chinese magazine), realise that this issue have alot of nice phrases for us to think about..  Hence, I decided to share it with you guys.. All this phrases are said by some well know ppl or entertainment ppl. There's no need for you to think whats the reason behind for them to say or whether is it true anot, as long as you feel that, it does helps in your daily lifes, its something good for you to think about

(the orginal version is in chinese, so may have some difference or phrases are not well translated… so if those who are able to translater better pls do let me know so I can make some changes. )

1. One does not look back, just make sure today you are living better than tomorrow.

2. Some things are to be done alone, some obsticles are to be face alone and some path are meanth to be walk alone.

3. I don't understand why human loves dragging? Maybe due to fear. Afraid of being defeat, afraid of miserable, afriad of rejection, or just afraid to make a choice?

4. Communication. We started learning ever since we are born. But funny thing is, when we grow up, started to learn how to write and speak but never learn what need to say and how to say whats on our mind.

Pics time!!

Working on saturday night shift at Mt Alvernia hospital.. Till now still not used to work as an agency nurse, coz there's alot of policy which is different between private hospital and SGH. Take for example, in SGH, nurses are used to taking blood or setting plug, but in private hospital, all done by doctors. When come to making decisions, most of time private nurses will inform the doctor, or just make a note for the morning shift to pass to the doctors. Maybe because they don't have MO (medical officers) like general hospital. There's lots more to compare but if ask me to choose again whether to work in private or general, I will choose general hospital. Its because the feeling of satifaction, the responsiblities we cover although is heavier.

Was chatting with the staff nurses when we are more or less settled, she asked me how come I'm doing part-time etc… Before ending the conversation, told her I prefer to do night shift and afternoon shift. She said once you are getting used to the “free time” in night shift, you wouldn't want to go back to work morning shift.. I was like erm… I like afternoon and night is because I'm lazy to wake up so early.. coz nurses morning shift starts at 7am, so i have to wake up around 5am which I hate it.. Anyway, in my heart, I was thinking.. in general hospital, the night shift is busy.. coz lost of changning and parameters need to be done.. so no difference though whether to work night, afternoon or morning. But one thing i like about morning shift is I love to do dressing, setting and taking blood.. thats what I miss most…

During break… one thing with private hospital… they are fully air-conditional.. its so cold!!! So during breaktime got to cover myself with blanket.. -,-” I prefer my “C” class… no air-con.. wahaha.. I hate air-con… Ya my room no air-con..

The long walk way… really very long… my knees (baluku there) hurt after few hours… Wear heels also not pain (ok finding excuses to wear heels)… oh ya.. forget to call TTSH for my appointment!!!

 

Next week, there will be one more night shift.. before I call it off to study for my exam!!! It spells “LOTS OF MAC” too… O,o”

Went to meet Benny on monday to have dinner.. not a pleasent one, coz we got some argument.. but glad things solve when reach home.. lolz.. 5 years still argue lor… but more like a married couple argue for “????“

Finally after along wait.. my “Big prawn” soup!! Although I miss the one in “Chomp chomp” but thats too ex to eat.. wait for gathering with my friends then eat bah..

 

Order “fruits rojak”… ask for non-spicy… but still.. very spicy… -,-”

 

Reach home, play with mao mao for awhile before continue to tidying my room.. She's become more naughty.. no sure if its due to her teeth still gowing keep on bitting stuff.. -,-” Bought a soft toy for her, hope she behave more..

Hehe.. I'm know I'm abit late to wish Singapore happy birthday.. But was not free to blog on that day coz me busy tidying up my “pig” room (coz is in a super duper mess) and dad brought us out to eat for lunch and dinner.. Really having a food feast on that day man!! Think past few days eat too much of good food/buffet.. due to birthday and national day.. I LS 2 times today and stomach discomfort for the whole day -,-”… but still I enjoy the meal hehehe.. so greedy.. OKok time for pics!!

Meet Benny after he finish work. We went to Outram Park the temp. food market beside the outram MRT station. We had fish head for dinner! There are more than 5 stores to choose from seriously can't decide which one is good, end up we choose the store away from the rest… so the rest of the stores wouldn't “stare” at us..

Bittergourd soup, my favourite!! Its quite big bowl even though we ordered the smaller ones. Dear drank 4 small bowls, I drank 3..

 

Here comes the fish head!! The last pics is Benny trying to compare the thicknest of the fish with his PDA phone. We ordered Hong Kong style Steam Fish Head.

 

The fish bone… we manage to finish the whole thing! It was great, I love the way they do the sauce, they fried the onion and the way they steam the fish! And most important part, the fish oil! I love fish oil! good for skin.. hahaha… I'm not very good in describing how fantastic the fish head is, so you guys should go and try, if you love fish, fish head, fish oil or good/cheap food!

 

The location of the fish head store.. Dopn't dare to go near and take photo. So stand at the side.. The biggest signboard is the one, its beside “????” is at the first row facing the main road. Hope the description helps for those who want to eat the fish head. Btw forget to mention the fish head is $13.

 

After eating, we walk around chinatown to let our food digest… Benny bought me a pig soft toy!! At first he don't want to buy for me, coz firstly I have too many soft toys and secondly he don't want to waste $$ but in the end he bought for me.. hehehe.. Thanks alot dear!!

Today Yifei give me a birthday treat at Japanese Resturanr ~ “Waraku” with the accompany of Lionel and Suekay.. Really have to thanks for Yifei organising the small celebration and thanks for everything!

After playing for quite some time, our food came!! Really ordered alot..

What i ordered: Kaminabe in miso soup, seafood. Its my all time favourite!

 

Lionel and Yifei's order: Katsu Curry, Lionel's one is regular, Yifei's had it in mini. But their mini is 1 bowl full of rice, so regular is like 2 bowls!?

 

Suekay's order: Sukiyaki

 

Our starter: Hokkia Salad. I love this very much! Its a few of different sashimi, with fish roe, veg and wasabi. They mix the wasabi very well. So when you eat this, you will have a equal taste of the sauce, wasabi in eerysingle sashimi! So you wouldn't feel like one have too much or too little wsabi.

 

Side dishes: 

Chawamushi, not only the usual ingrediants, they have “bai guo” and unagi inside.

After eating, we went over to UE square area, to have chocolate fondue at chocolate factory.. Its not nice!! The hotel serves even better! The chocolate taste like “milo dinosaur” And the portion is very small, and its ex.. 3 of us regreted going there to eat, so plan to have another choclate fondue makan session again!

Only took 1 photo coz they don't allow photo taking.. blah..

Btw, those who are interetsed to go to the Jap resturant, here's the guideline of the pricing, total spent is around/about $152.

Eating feast on that day. Didn't stay at home to watch the national day parade. During lunch time we went to Boon Keng to eat. Its the first time the whole family went out together in the new car! My dad sold away his van and bought this, coz with grandma staying with us now, its more convinent to ferry the whole family in a family car. Cute?? Is like a bread shape, so i call it “bread car” ~ ???

The 3 crazy kids!! My sister had her braces done!! When is my turn?? Wait till my pocket is full enough.. got to pay school fees first! She only had her upper teeth done, coz both of us have the same problem, one side of our front teeth is side way… its not very obvious unless you look closely. For these she paid around $1800.

Dad brought us to Sims Ave, the industrial area there for steamboat buffet dinner! Its near Payar Labar MRT station, Blk 26. Its quite cheap, weekdays for $9.90/person and weekends/holiday is $11.90/person. We got 2 and ahalf free crab! Can't remember 2 person will have any free crab anot, got to check it out.

Meet benny for dinner at chinatown after casting. Want to eat the famous porridge over there. But it doesn't turn out nice as what I have been eating when I wroking at SGH. But still I like their raw fish dish.

Happy Birthday to me!!! had a mini celebration with my friends after school and after that went to Colleen's place. Really thanks alot for her effort to make cupcakes for me and the presents too!! And not forgetting Melissa, getting into pageant, knowing both of you is the good thing I ever had!! (photos taken at Colleen's place will upload another day coz pics with melissa )

4th August

Celebration of my brother and my birthday with the family!! Went to the nearby hawker centre to have a big feast.. Brought maomao along too.. let her enjoy.. hahaha.. she loves going out lor.. see ppl and jump on their legs.. she loves legs.. hahah

5th August

3rd day of my birthday celebration.. this time round is with my love ~ Benny..
